Bulk Splittable

The Bulk Splittable check box determines whether a ship unit with a quantity of 0 or 1 can be split into multiple ship units and placed on multiple shipments or multiple equipment. You may need to split such orders when the total weight or volume of the ship unit cannot be handled by the equipment group that is assigned to the shipment during planning. You can configure the itinerary to determine whether Oracle Transportation Management creates multiple shipments or uses multiple equipment.

Note: The Bulk Splittable check box only applies to ship units of 0 or 1. If you have more than one ship unit, the line is always considered splittable.
