Authority

This page is accessed via Master Data > Power Data > Compliance Rules > Authority.

In GTM, an authority is a group that has the ability to establish and enforce trade regulations. For example, in the US, the EAR (Export Administration Regulations) is a regime under the authority of the U. S. Department of State.

Use this page to add a new authority or to update existing authority information.

Adding an Authority:

1. Enter an ID in the Authority ID field.
2. Enter the name in the Authority Name field.
3. Enter a description in the Authority Description field.
4. Select the domain in which this authority will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
5. Click Finished.
