License Types

This page is accessed via Master Data > Power Data > Licenses and Registrations > License Types.

Use this page to define the license types and values you will be associating with your transactions and transaction lines.

1. Enter an ID for the type in the Type ID field.
2. Enter the name of the type in the Type Name field.
3. Select a category ID from the Category ID drop-down list.
4. In some cases, regulations allow for some tolerances for some license types. The tolerance fields enable you to define ranges of tolerance values - either by value (Tolerance Value Above and Tolerance Value Below) or quantity (Tolerance Quantity Above and Tolerance Quantity Below).
5. You can enter a description in the Description field.
6. Select an option from the Limiting Factor drop-down list. The choices are Quantity, Value, and Quantity and Value.
7. Select the domain in which this code will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
8. Click Finished.
