Value Categories

This page is accessed via Master Data > Power Data > Configurations > Value Categories.

A value category groups values like taxes, totals, costs, etc. under a particular category that can be applied to a trade transaction, trade transaction line, declaration, declaration line, or estimated landed cost calculation. Examples of value categories include transportation, finance, procurement, etc.

Adding a Value Category

1. Enter a unique identifier in the Value Category ID field. You will use this ID when you refer to this value category on other pages.
2. Enter the value category name in the Name field.
3. If needed, enter additional information about the value category in the Description field.
4. Select a domain in which this value category will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
5. Click Finished.
