Apply Item Template Action

This page is accessed via:

  • Classification > Items > Actions > Apply Item Template
  • Master Data > Items > Actions > Apply Item Template

Use this action to add information contained on a selected item template to one or more items.

Note: This action can also be run as a process in the Process Manager.

Applying an Item Template

  1. Select one or more items on the Item Manager Finder.
  2. Run the action.
  3. On the Apply Item Template page, select a template in the Item Template ID field.
  4. Select the Override option if the information on the selected template is to override information that already exists on the item(s).
  5. Click Apply.
  6. The Apply Item Template Result page will open. The page lists the Item Template ID, the item(s) updated, and the success or failure of the action.
