Manager Layout: Edit Grid Properties

This page is accessed via Configuration and Administration > User Configuration > Manager Layout. Then select the Detail tab. Select Configure Grid. Click Edit Grid Properties.

You can edit grids to control how users will use the grid.

Editing Grid Properties on Inline Grids

1. To hide the Delete, Edit, New and Save icons on a grid, select the Disable Editing Records option button.
2. To enable the Delete, Edit, New and Save icons, select the Enable All button. Enabling all is the default.
3. Click Save.

Editing Grid Properties on Second Page Grids

1. To hide the Delete and New icons on a grid, select the Disable Creation and Deletion of Records option button.
2. To hide the New icon on a grid, select the Disable Creation of Records option button.
3. To hide the Delete icon on a grid, select the Disable Deletion of Records option button.
4. To hide the Delete, Edit, New and Save icons on a grid, select the Disable Editing Records option button.
5. To enable the Delete, Edit, New and Save icons, select the Enable All button. Enabling all is the default.
6. Click Save.
