Milestone Monitor

This page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Agents and Milestones > Milestone Monitor.

A milestone monitor is created from the milestone template and inherits all of the milestones from the template.

You can add new or modify existing milestones; however, changes made to a milestone monitor do not affect the milestone template that was used to create the milestone monitor.

Note: Milestone monitor functionality pre-dates scalability architecture and therefore is not designed to handle failover.

Editing a Milestone Monitor

1. The Milestone Monitor Name is the same as the name of the Milestone Template. You can modify the name that appears or enter a new name. You can use the name as search criteria to locate Milestone Monitors.
2. If Deactivate On Completion is selected, then the milestone monitor is deactivated upon completion. Completion occurs when it reaches its Last Milestone Event.
3. If Delete On Completion is checked, then the milestone monitor is deleted upon completion. Completion occurs when it reaches its Last Milestone Event.

Milestones

This section displays the milestones inherited from the milestone template, plus any you have manually added. You can modify inherited milestones.

1. Click Add Milestone to add additional milestones.

Milestone Links

This section displays the dependency links that you have established for milestones. You can record these dependencies when you add or edit milestones.
