Modify Capacity Limit

This page is accessed via Operational Planning > Capacity Management > Capacity Limits > Actions > Modify Capacity Limit.

Use this option if you want to modify the number of shipments the service provider can accept by a period of time specified when you created your capacity limit.

Note: You cannot modify a capacity limit to a number lower than the total of planned shipments. For example, if you set capacity for 5 shipments and create 2 planned shipments against that limit, you cannot modify the capacity limit to 1.

Note: You cannot update a capacity limit set prior to the current date. You can only update capacity limits set in current or future periods.

Enter a new amount at the Capacity Limit field for annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly periods. For daily capacity limit periods, enter new capacity limits for each day as needed. Click Submit when you have finished entering a new capacity limit.
