Assign Location

This page is accessed via Operational Planning > Power Data > Appointments > Location Resource Group. Under the Assign Locations section, click New.

Use this page to assign locations with appointment rule sets to a location resource group. For example, a location resource group Dry, is assigned to Chicago with a default appointment rule set D1 and seasonal rule set S1. This implies that if a location resource (dock door) Door1 in Chicago belongs to a location resource group Dry, then the appointment rule sets D1 and S1 applies to that resource.

Assigning a Location to a Location Resource Group

If you open the Assign Location page for two different location resource groups simultaneously such as DRY and PHARMA for the same location Philadelphia, then looking at the Location Resource Group ID you can identify the assigned location for a specific location resource group.

1. Enter a Location.
2. Enter a Calendar ID.

Appointment Rule Sets

1. You can enter an existing or create a new Appointment Rule Set.
2. Click Save.

You can add one default appointment rule set and multiple seasonal appointment rule sets.

Note: You can have a default rule set, but it is optional. The default rule set has no expiration date.
