Calculated Field
This page is accessed via Configuration and Administration > Power Data > General > Calculated Field.
A calculated field is a field containing data that is obtained or derived by looking at details of a shipment. Calculated fields are used in Finders to aid you in performing searches for specific action-related items. For example, using calculated fields, you could use Driver Manager to view how many miles a driver has driven in the last 7 days. Use the Manager Layout page to add calculated fields to manager tabs.
Tabs containing calculated fields exist on the following finders:
The following properties let you define your use of calculated fields:
- glog.server.derived.derivedata.calculable_fields_limit: controls the number of calculated fields on a finder. The more calculated fields on a finder, the more performance will be impacted.
- glog.server.derived.derivedata.filterable_fields_limit: limits the number of calculated fields that are filterable. The larger the number, the more performance will be impacted.
- glog.server.derived.deriveddata.filterable_pks_limit: limits the number of primary keys (PKs) that can come in as an input to be further filtered by the derived data filters.
