Currency Definitions

This page is accessed via Financials > Power Data > General > Currency Definitions.

You can create, modify, and view basic information about the currencies used for entering and calculating monetary data.

Note: By modifying your user preferences, you can select the default currency appearing in monetary fields.

Adding a New Currency Definition

1. Enter a unique Currency ID to identify the currency.
2. Enter a Currency Name, for example, DOLLAR or PESO.
3. Enter the Country Code that applies to the currency. The country code is a two-or-three-digit alphanumeric signifier for a country. Generally, the three-digit ISO-3166 country codes are used.
4. Select a Domain Name, or accept the current domain.
5. Click Finished.
