Failure Reason and Solutions

This page is accessed via Configuration and Administration > Power Data > General > Failure Reason and Solutions.

This page lists failure reasons that actions and processes can encounter and allows you to create your own reason codes. Reasons can be used in actions with the utility agent action "Raise Errors". Then in the Error Code field, you could select one of these reasons.

Note: Planning will not use user-defined reason codes. However, planning code will show client-specific solutions if they are attached to the standard reason codes.

The solutions allow you to enter suggested solutions for a failure. For example, for the Failure Reason "Time window infeasible" when building a shipment, you could enter a solution of "Try changing the dates on the shipment.".

1. Enter a Failure Reason ID.
2. Enter a Description.
3. In the Diagnostic Process Possible Solutions section:
   1. Enter a Solution Code.
   2. Enter a Description.
   3. Click Save.
4. Click Finished.
