Shipping Agent Rule

This page is accessed via Brokerage and Forwarding > Power Data > General > Shipping Agent Rule.

A shipping agent rule defines how the Auto-Assign Agent Responsibilities or Auto-Assign Agent to Job actions work. The shipping agent rule references both a Java class and a rule type. If you select a rule type of Shipment Responsibility the Java class for this rule implements which shipments/costs the agent is responsible for.

Defining a Shipping Agent Rule:

1. Enter a Shipping Agent Rule ID.
2. Enter a Class Name. The class name must correspond with a Java class that you must provide.
3. Select a Rule Type from the drop-down list.
4. Select a Domain from the drop-down list.
5. Click Finished.
