Allocation Metric Definitions

Allocation metric definitions are the preset, public data algorithms and variables that govern the automated allocation of planned and actual (that is, vouchered) transportation costs. The allocation metric definitions are the formulas behind the Allocate Cost action in Shipment Execution, and the Allocate Issued Voucher action in Financials, and the Bulk Allocation process.

The Single Origin Only check box indicates whether the metric applies only to single-origin orders. The Single Destination Only check box indicates whether the metric applies only to single-destination orders. The Single Order Only check box indicates whether the metric applies only to single orders.

Note: Allocation metric definitions are preset, public data that cannot be added or deleted. Only a someone logged in as DBA.ADMIN can edit the allocation metric definitions.
