Outlier Rule

This page is accessed via Cooperative Routing > Power Data > Cooperative Routing > Outlier Rule.

An outlier rule defines a single rule used to exclude historical shipment data points from the computation of the forecast. Outliers are not historical shipments themselves, but shipment volume aggregated by time bucket. For example, for a weekly period with two shifts per day, the volume for each individual Monday, Shift 1 would be a separate data point. You can add multiple outlier rules for your project.

Adding an Outlier Rule

  1. Enter a unique Outlier Rule ID.
  2. Select a Domain Name from the drop-down list.
  3. Select a Rule Type from the drop-down list. Rule types are system-defined.
  4. Enter an X and a Y coordinate for the rule type. What X and Y represent changes depending upon which rule type you have selected.
  5. Click Finished.
