Loading Pattern

This page is accessed via Operational Planning > Power Data > Load Configuration > Loading Pattern.

Loading Patterns specify the orientation and layout for when ship units are loaded in equipment. Loading patterns are predefined as public data. A loading pattern contains a Loading Pattern ID, Name, and Description. It also includes a flag signifying if the loading pattern represents Cylindrical items, as well as a Loading Pattern Image showing you exactly how the loading pattern looks. Since loading patterns are predefined and have specific meaning, you cannot edit the Loading Pattern ID or the image, even if you are logged in as a database administrator (DBA). Most users cannot edit any of the data, but DBAs can edit the Name and Description fields in order to make them more meaningful to users.

The possible values for Orientation are:

  • Cannon (for cylinders)
  • Crosswise (for non-cylinders)
  • Lengthwise (for non-cylinders)
  • Pinwheel (for non-cylinders)
  • Rolling (for cylinders)
  • Standing Nested (for cylinders)
  • Standing Straight (for cylinders)
