Change Reference Numbers

This action is accessed via Shipment Management > Visibility > Demurrage Transaction. Click Actions.

Use this action to assign or change reference number details on a demurrage transaction. It can be used to reserve specific equipment at the ramp or to order empty cars for loading. The reservation number (if intermodal) or order number (if order empty cars for load) information is not received along with the asset tracking/shipment status updates events. Hence, this action is used to assign or change the reference number for selected demurrage transactions and also update specific date information such as reservation date, ordered data and want date.

Note: If the reference number already exists, it will either update or skip it depending on the Updates Allowed check box on the Demurrage Transaction Reference Number Qualifier.

Changing a Reference Number

1. Enter the Reference Number Qualifier ID for the Demurrage Transaction.
2. Enter the Reference Number.
3. Click Save.
4. Click OK.
