Resequence Stops

This action is accessed via the following:

• Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments > Actions > Shipment Management > Change Shipment Stops > Resequence Stops
• Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Sell Shipments > Actions > Shipment Management > Change Shipment Stops > Resequence Stops

Change the sequence in which different stops occur for a shipment. After you change the sequence of stops, Oracle Transportation Management re-plans the shipment and assigns new delivery times to all the stops on the shipment. When a shipment is re-planned, many features of the shipment may change to better suit the new stop sequence, such as the rate or service provider.

Note: This action cannot be used if the shipment was created from a schedule with a type of Dynamic trip or Static trip.

1. Select the stop you want to resequence.
2. Click move up or move down as necessary until the stop is the desired Stop Number in the sequence.
3. Click Reverse Sequence to reverse the sequence of the stops simultaneously. 
4. • If there is only one pickup stop then all the stops after the pickup stop will be reversed.
   • If there is only one dropoff stop then all the stops before the dropoff stop will be reversed.

   • If there are multiple pickup stops and multiple dropoff stops, everything between the first pickup and last dropoff will be reversed.

5. You can resequence the stops and then reverse sequence those stops.

6. Repeat steps 1-2 to resequence additional stops on the shipment.

7. Click OK to save the new sequence.
