Complex Expression

This page is accessed via Business Process Automation > Power Data > Event Management > Complex Expression.

Complex expressions allow you to build complex evaluation criteria with nested AND/OR logic. They involve attribute rules, saved conditions, thresholds, and expressions. Complex expressions are an alternative to creating lengthy agents with a lot of IFs.

Adding Complex Expressions

1. Enter a unique identifier in the Complex Expression ID field.
2. Select a domain in which this expression will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
3. Select the required option from the Logic Operator drop-down list.

Complex Expression Details

1. Enter an Attribute Rule.
2. Enter a Saved Condition.
3. Enter a Threshold.
4. Enter an Expression.
5. Click Save for each attribute rule you define.
6. Click Finished.
