Customs Codes Mapping Overview

You can configure the mapping of code to EDI-accepted code used in generation of X107 element in AES Report. You can add the custom code mapping using Code Mappings UI in any of the categories Authorization, Authorization Type, Exception Control Code and License Code.

The mapping of codes to EDI-accepted codes on current regulations in the Code Mapping “AES FILING MAPPING DEFAULT” is included as seed data.

How to Use Custom Codes Mapping for X107

  1. Go to Master Data > Power Data > Configurations > Code Mappings, run the "Copy Code mapping” action on the “AES FILING MAPPING DEFAULT” code mapping and create a new code mapping. “AES FILING MAPPING DEFAULT” is the default code mapping used in AES Filing shipped and maintained by GTM, which you should not change. All changes should be made to the copy you just created, or create a new code mapping with the Type of “AES FILING MAPPING” to modify the code mappings.
  2. You can modify the code mappings using the following ways:
    1. Add New Code Mapping: Use the button “Add New Mapping Data” to create a new mapping for any of the four parameter groups. Enter the code and override external code values on the screen.

    2. Update Default Code Mapping: Click the edit button and:

      1. Provide a new value in Override External Code field to override the default code mapping.
      2. Empty the Override External Code field to stop using the default code mapping.
Note: You can fall back to default mapping by deleting the overridden code mapping.
