Storage Workflow

Document Storage Workflow summarizes how the CMS and its settings influences how Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management Cloud stores content.A sample workflow shoing how generic content management system handles document storage. If the document has a GUID and the CMS supports versioning, then you can create a new document version via Check In. If the document has a GUID and the CMS does not support versioning but supports content updates, then you can modify the content of an existing document. If the document has a GUID and the CMS does not support versioning, and does not support content updates, then you can remove the existing document and add a new one, if the document primary name exists. If the document does not have a GUID and it has a folder, it will create ancestor folders as needed and create a filed document. If the document does not have a GUID and does not have a folder, and the CMS supports unfiled documents, it will create an unfiled document. If the document does not have a GUID, does not have a folder, and does not support unfiled documents, you will get a CMS error about unfiled documents.
