Trade Incentive Programs Value Calculations

This page is accessed via Master Data > Power Data > Trade Incentive Programs > Trade Incentive Program Value Calculations.

As part of special trade incentive programs (like, duty drawback, inward processing, etc.), it is essential to capture the value of goods that are under a program. Use this page to define such values that need to be adjusted on an inventory/inventory movement during reconciliation when you perform the action Match Exits to Entries.

Adding a Value Calculation Record

  1. Enter a unique identifier in the Value Calculation ID field. You will use this ID when you refer to this value calculation record on other pages.
  2. Enter the name of the calculation record in the Value Calculation Name field.
  3. Select a domain in which this value calculation will be active from the Domain Name drop-down list.
  4. In the Value Calculation Details section, do the following:
    1. Select the type of object whose value needs to be adjusted from the Object Type drop-down list.
    2. Select the target value qualifier, for which adjustment has to be done, from the Target Value Qualifier ID drop-down list.
    3. Select one of the following options from the Value Operation drop-down list:
      • Increase: select this option to increase the value of the target object during reconciliation.
      • Decrease: select this option to decrease the value of the target object during reconciliation.
    4. Select the source value qualifier, from which value to be adjusted is considered, from the Source Value Qualifier ID drop-down list.
    5. Enter the rate type used to make this value adjustment in the Trade Incentive Program Rate Type field.
  5. Click Finished.
