Export/Import: Logistics Modeling Data

If you have already set up Logistics Network Modeling (LNM) for the Single Leg Consolidation Use Case for Network Modeling on one server or domain on the same server, you can use planning data import and export to copy the data as follows:

  1. Export LNM data from a domain or server.
  2. Import that data to another domain or server.

Exporting the Data

Export the data using the following:

  1. An Export Type of Logistics Network Modeling.
  2. An Object Type of Modeling Project.
  3. A modeling project saved query. For example, you could use a query which limits results to a specific modeling project.
  4. Download the .zip file locally.

Importing the Data

Import the zip file data as follows:

  1. Select a Transaction Type of IU.
  2. For an Input Zip file, select the file that you downloaded previously.
  3. Click Upload and the page updates to show new input fields.
  4. For a From Domain, select the domain that you selected during the export.
  5. For a To Domain, select the newly created domain.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. On the results page, click Refresh until all processes are completed.

Testing the Data

Test the imported data as follows:

  1. Review the project. In the Modeling Scenarios section, you will see each of the scenarios.
  2. Run the project action Scenario Bulk Plan to perform the bulk plan for the scenarios.
  3. Select the scenarios and click Submit.
  4. View the results on the Scenario Bulk Plan Comparison screen.
