About Oracle Transportation Management-Global Trade Management Integration

Enhancements in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)-Global Trade Management (GTM) integration provide flexibility and ease in creating GTM trade transactions from OTM buy shipments and OTM shipment groups.

This integration helps you to improve productivity by:

• Avoiding the need for complex agent actions
• Defining which data can be copied from OTM buy shipments to GTM trade transactions as well as from OTM shipment groups to GTM trade transactions
• Supporting mapping to different qualifiers between OTM and GTM
• Supporting change management between OTM and GTM so that changes in an OTM buy shipment or shipment group can be propagated to the related GTM trade transactions
• Supporting one-to-one relationship between OTM buy shipment and GTM trade transaction including:
  • Truckload, Less-than Truckload, Rail and multi-stop shipments across countries
  • Ocean shipments with arbitraries
  • Ocean/border leg shipments
  • Consolidated shipments
• Supporting many-to-one relationship between OTM buy shipment and GTM trade transaction including:
  • Shipment and secondary charge or handling shipment
  • Shipment group representing multi-leg shipments
  • Shipment group and its related shipment group secondary charge shipments
