License Screening

This page is accessed via:

• Compliance > License Screening
• Licenses and Registrations > License Screening
• Ask Oracle > License Screening

Use this page to define characteristics of a license for which you will search. You can use as many details as you wish to specify the license characteristics.

Note: The sections titled Control Type Code, User-defined Code, and Date must be completed before running the screening.

Controls

1. Select a control type from the Control Type drop-down list.
2. Enter a code in the Control Code field.
3. Click Save.

User-defined Codes

1. Select a code category from the Category drop-down list.
2. Select a type ID from the Type drop-down list.

   Note: The available options are determined by your choice of category in the previous step.

3. Select a code from the Value drop-down list.

   Note: The available options are determined by your choice of type in the previous step. For easy understanding, this drop-down list displays description of the user-defined code values instead of codes.

4. Click Save.

Dates

1. Select a qualifier from the Date Qualifier ID drop-down list.
2. Enter a date in the Date field.
3. Click Save.

Transaction Information

1. Enter a type of transaction in the Transaction Type field.

Item

1. Enter an Item ID.
2. Select a commodity ID from the Commodity ID drop-down list.
3. Select a user-defined commodity ID from the User-defined Commodity ID drop-down list.

Ports

1. Select a port qualifier from the Port Qualifier drop-down list.
2. Enter a Port ID.
3. Click Save.

Involved Parties

1. Select an involved party qualifier from the Involved Party Qualifier drop-down list.
2. Enter the party ID in the Involved Party field.
3. Click Save.

Involved Locations

1. Select a qualifier from the Involved Location Qualifier ID drop-down list.
2. Enter a location in the Location field.
3. Click Save.

Product Classifications

1. Enter a classification type in the Product Classification Type field.
2. Enter a classification code in the Product Classification Code field.
3. Click Save.

Remarks

1. Select a qualifier ID from the Remark Qualifier ID drop-down list.
2. Enter a classification code in the Text field.
3. Click Save.

Line Remarks

1. Select a qualifier ID from the Remark Qualifier ID drop-down list.
2. Enter a classification code in the Text field.
3. Click Save.

Reference Numbers

1. Select a reference number qualifier from the Reference Number Qualifier ID drop-down list.
2. Enter the Reference Number Value.
3. Click Save.

Line Reference Numbers

1. Select a reference number qualifier from the Reference Number Qualifier ID drop-down list.
2. Enter the Reference Number Value.
3. Click Save.

Item Remark

1. Select a qualifier ID from the Remark Qualifier ID drop-down list.
2. Enter a classification code in the Text field.
3. Click Save.

Performing the License Screening

Click Match to run the screening process.
