Propose Classification Code

This page is accessed via:

• Classification > Items > Actions > Propose Classification Code
• Master Data > Items > Actions > Propose Classification Code
• Order Management > Material Management > Item > Actions > Propose Classification Code

Performing this action engages machine learning training to return top three probable classification codes.

1. Enter a machine learning project ID in the Project ID field.
2. Select a scenario from the Scenario ID drop-down list.
3. Select a type from the Product Classification Type drop-down list.
4. Enter a number in the Threshold % field. Only those classification codes whose probability is greater than the threshold value will be displayed in the results page.
5. Click Propose Classification Code.
   The top three probable classification codes are displayed along with their probability percentages.

You can select a classification code and click Save Classification to save the item classification. This record is displayed in the Product Classification section of the Trade Details tab page of the Item screen.

Note: You can only save an active/valid classification code. Trying to save an inactive/invalid classification code will result in an error.

When the prediction is complete, you see the Propose Product Classification Results page that includes the following information:

• Item ID: GTM item ID
• Model Accuracy: This is the accuracy of the model used in the prediction. Accuracy is displayed in decimals.
• Product Classification Type
• Item Description: GTM item description
• Sequence Number
• Classification Code
• Probability
• Description of the classification code
• Proposal Status
  • Project ID
  • Scenario ID
  • Status: ACCEPTED, COMPLETED, or FAILED

Click Back to go to the previous page where you can enter new values and re-run the action.
