Operational Planning
Diagnostic Log File
This page is accessed via Operational Planning > Power Data > Planning > Diagnostic Log File.
For Diagnostics to be enabled two checks must be in place. The property glog.otmdiag.log must be on (it is on (true) by default). Also, either the Diagnostic user preference or the Tracking Diagnostic flag on the Settings and Actions page must be on.
The property glog.diagnostics.max.logfiles.per.domain determines the max number of log files that can be stored in the application server machine. The default value is 40. This is a reserved property.
The property glog.diagnostics.MaxBytesToRead controls the upper limit of the size of the diagnostics log file. If the log file is bigger than the upper limit, OTM will throw an exception.
When an action is run that has plan diagnostics logging and logging is turned on, the plan diagnostic log entries are captured. This page displays the diagnostic log file information.
Click the View Diagnostics button for more information. From there, you can Export the data as well.
Note: The diagnostic log file size is limited to a maximum of 60 MB for a bulk plan run. If the log file exceeds this limit, this will be truncated.
