Split Line for Penalty Reporting
This page is accessed via Customs > Declaration Lines > Actions > Compliance > Split Line for Penalty Reporting.
Use this action to derive the value of steel/aluminium/copper content in imported goods and use it for filing customs.
Note: To display the input fields on this page, set the value of the gtm.splitLine.penaltyCode.actionInput property to "true". The default value is "false".
When you perform this action, the product classifications (primary classification codes and penalty codes) added to the declaration line are considered. GTM determines which classification codes to be split and added to the new declaration lines based on the Split Allowed checkbox configuration on the trade program.
The value percentages of steel and non-steel content, the data to be copied from the base line to the new declaration lines, and the product classification type to be split are derived based on the split configuration parameters.
