Shipment Management
Calendar Definitions
This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Power Data > Calendar > Calendar Definitions.
Calendars define when shipping related activities can occur at a location. Calendars can be Cyclical or Annual.
You can edit activities, add new activities, and delete activities on both cyclical and annual calendars.
Note: You cannot change the start date of a calendar.
The Cyclical calendar repeats activities that occur in a cycle. Once you have all of your activities set up, Oracle Transportation Management automatically repeats them every X days (where X is the number of days you define in the cycle). The day on which you start the calendar, becomes day one in the cycle. In addition, you can set up override actions that take precedence over normal activities.
The Annual calendar covers a particular period of time that does not repeat. For example, you can define an annual calendar for a single year or part of a year.
