Transactions
Restricted Party Screening Process
This page is accessed via Transactions > Process Management > Screening > Restricted Party Screening.
Note: The use of the Restricted Party Screening Process will be deprecated in a later version. Instead, use Data Query.
Here are the steps to use Data Query:
1) Create an agent that would listen to the Contact Data Query Type custom event.
2) In the agent action, add the Restricted Party Screening action.
3) Trigger a Data Query process with Contact as Data Query Type and provide a saved query and raise the Contact Data Query Type custom event.
Use this page to screen parties against the restricted party list and the restricted party exclusion list.
- Select a saved query is from the Saved Query ID drop-down list or click Define to define a new query.
- Enter a service preference ID in the Service Preference ID field.
OR
Enter a profile ID in the Restricted Party Screening Profile ID field.
If you provide values in both the Service Preference ID and Restricted Party Screening Profile ID fields, the application shows an exception in the log.
If you do not enter any value in both the Service Preference ID and Restricted Party Screening Profile ID fields, the application will use the default service preference set in the logic configuration for the parameter DEFAULT RPS SERVICE PREFERENCE.
If a restricted party screening profile ID is provided, each party retrieved from the saved query is screened against the list of service preferences configured in the restricted party screening profile. -
Enter a User Role. When you run, publish, or schedule a recurring process, you can specify the user role used to perform the process, just like when you run agents. The user role can be used to specify a separate VPD role or another domain to run the agent. When a recurring process is modified, the user role of the recurring process can be modified as well.
- Select a Log Profile to generate focused logging when reproducing an error for the specific action. You cannot select a log profile when you choose to schedule a process, as automatic generation of action logs is not supported.
- Click Submit.
