Validate Shipment/Transaction/Declaration/Campaign Line/Item Qualification for Document
This action is accessed via:
- Shipment Management > Shipment Management > Buy Shipments or Sell Shipments. On the Documents tab:
- select the Actions icon (
) next to a Standard Document. Select Utilities > Validate Shipment for Document. - select the
icon next to a Standard Document. Select the Actions icon for the Document. Select Utilities > Validate Shipment for Document.

) next to a Standard Document. Select Utilities > Validate Transaction for Document. - select the
icon next to a Standard Document. Select the Actions icon for the Document. Select Utilities > Validate Transaction for Document.

- Customs > Declarations. On the Documents tab:

) next to a Standard Document. Select Utilities > Validate Declaration for Document. - select the
icon next to a Standard Document. Select the Actions icon for the Document. Select Utilities > Validate Declaration for Document.

- Trade Agreements > Campaign Lines. On the Documents tab:

) next to a Standard Document. Select Utilities > Validate Campaign Line for Document. - select the
icon next to a Standard Document. Select the Actions icon for the Document. Select Utilities > Validate Campaign Line for Document.

- Master Data > Items > Trade Details tab > Item Origin > Item Qualification. On the Documents tab:

) next to a Standard Document. Select Utilities > Validate Item Qualification for Document. - select the
icon next to a Standard Document. Select the Actions icon for the Document. Select Utilities > Validate Item Qualification for Document.

Run this action to check whether the document is valid to be generated. The Document Validation Rule page defines what makes a document valid. When checking for validation rules, the application first searches for validation rules with both the document type and data query type. If these are not present, then validation rules with just the document type are used.
