Apply Tariff Unstacking Rules

This page is accessed via Customs > Declaration Lines > Actions > Compliance > Apply Tariff Unstacking Rules.

Use this action to apply the appropriate exemptions and tariff rates to items shipped.

This action does not need any input. It considers the product classification codes (including the related penalties and exemptions, and the unstacking rules) available on the declaration line and the split line configurations available in the logic configuration.

When you perform this action, based on the penalty classification codes available of the declaration line, the application:

1. Checks the related unstacking rules for the penalty codes.
2. Unstacks the penalty codes and adds the required codes to be reported.
3. If required, splits the declaration line with appropriate penalty codes.
