Rate Zone Profile

This page is accessed via Shipment Management > Power Data > Geography > Rate Zone Profile.

Use rate zone profiles to create groups of related lanes. A lane defines two geographic points. When you assign a rate zone profile to a rate, the rate can apply to all the lanes using the profile.

The number of rate zone profile records that can be queried and/or edited through this page is determined by the glog.query.limit.glog.server.query.powerdata.RateZoneProfileDQuery query property. The default is 100. This can be modified to display more rows. If there are a large number of rate zone profile detail records, they can be edited or deleted from the Rate Zone Profile Detail page.

Adding Rate Zone Profiles

1. Enter a Rate Zone Profile ID.
2. To use a rate zone profile for Sourcing, select a Sourcing Rule Set ID. After you define the rate zone profile, run the Manage Rule Set Associations action to associate the rate zone profile with the specified sourcing rule set. Sourcing applies your rules only to the lanes using the profile.
3. Enter a Lane ID.
4. Select Save for each lane ID you select.
5. Select Finished.
