Ship Units

This page is accessed via Sourcing > Historical Shipments > Shipments. Then select the Ship Units tab.

Use this page to view, edit, and create ship units associated with historical shipments. All information on the ship unit overrides information on the ship unit line.

Adding a Ship Unit

1. On the Ship Units tab, select New Ship Unit.
2. Enter an ID for the ship unit in the ID field.  
3. Enter the NMFC classification in the NMFC Class ID field. The National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) fields allow you to apply a specific NMFC based rate using a range of NMFC classes. Shipments must have a valid NMFC criteria in order to be processed.
4. Enter the weight and select a unit of weight measurement in the Weight field.

Shipment Ship Unit Lines

1. Enter a line number in the Ship Unit Line Number field.
2. Enter the NMFC classification in the NMFC Class ID field.
3. Enter the weight and select a unit of weight measurement in the Weight field.
4. Select Save.
5. You can continue to add as many ship unit lines as you require. Remember to select Save after each line entry.
6. Select Save.
