Company Report Type

From the Company Report Type UI, you can configure all available Report Types to the corresponding specific template. These templates can be further filtered by the available fields such as Destination Company, Order Type, Ship Via, etc. Oracle WMS currently has seventeen different reports that can be generated in multiple UI screens and you can call templates from Label Designer, Web Reports, and the available internal templates.

To configure a Report:

  1. Open the Company Report Type UI. By default, all the report types will have a pre-configured document assigned, which can be modified to meet the operational requirements.
  2. To add a new Report Type, click the Create button located on the right-hand side corner.

  3. The button will open a Sub-Menu that will allow you to configure a new Company Report.

Configuring a Company Report Type Using a Pre-established Template

  1. Click the add button to see the Report sub-menu. Select one of the available reports types from the Report Types drop-down.
  2. Click the Edit button to modify the selected Report Type options.
  3. The ‘Edit’ menu will open with a report sub-type populated. (The current configuration will allow the report to be called for any company, meaning no additional configuration)

Using Company Report Type to Call Label Designer Templates

Company Report Type can summon any Label Designer template that was created from scratch using that tool. Additional configuration is also available if your current operational flow requires it. Follow the above steps (under Company Report Type) if you need to create or modify a current report.

  1. To further configure the report, note that once the ‘doc_code’ field has a value that matches an actual Label Template Code, then the system will not take into account if the Report SubType has a value.

Using Company Report Type to Call Web Reports

Company Report Type can summon any Web Reports template that was created from scratch using Web Reports. Additional configuration is also available if your current operational flow requires it. Follow the above steps (under Company Report Type) if you need to create or modify a current report. Below are the specific steps needed to further configure it.

  1. For this specific configuration, once the Report SubType has the ‘WebReport’ value then the system will allow you to use the last 2 fields (‘web report’ path and ‘Web report format’).
