Reserve Inventory

The ReserveInventory screen provides detailed inventory information filtered by Location Area and Item Code. You can click on the linked LPN number in the “Curr lpns” column and see more information regarding the items in each LPN such as the Shipped Quantity, Current Quantity (by LPN), and Pallet Number.

Group Reserve Inventory by Priority Date

The system allows you to group the Reserve Inventory records based on the Priority Date value by adding the priority date column to the data grid on the Reserve Inventory UI.

Note: By default, the Priority Date field is not added to the data grid of the Reserve Inventory UI. So, the system displays Reserve Inventory records without considering the priority date for grouping.

To group Reserve Inventory records based on priority date, do the following:

  1. Go to the Reserve Inventory UI.
  2. Click (+) button, to view the list of columns on the Reserve Inventory UI.
  3. Select the "Priority Date" check box to add the Priority Date column to the data grid.
Note: Similarly, you can revert the behavior by unchecking the "Priority Date" check box.

For example, let’s say a Reserve Location has two LPNs with the same SKU and different priority dates (as mentioned below).

  • Inbound LPN LPN 1 with SKU-1 having priority date as 20-10-2022 with a quantity of 10 units.
  • Inbound LPN LPN 2 with SKU-1 having priority date as 22-10-2022 with a quantity of 10 units.

Following are the possible outcomes with/without considering the priority date:

If Priority Date is added to the data grid:

The system displays multiple records.

Location SKU Quantity Current LPNs Priority Date
Location-1 SKU-1 10 1 20-10-2022
Location-1 SKU-1 10 1 22-10-2022

If Priority Date is not added to the data grid (default behavior):

Location SKU Quantity Current LPNs
Location-1 SKU-1 20 2
