Serial Number Repository View

This screen displays all Serial Numbers for all items in the current facility.

You can also drill down to the serial number record’s details () to view the inventory associated to it:

If the serial number is associated to inventory, the detailed view indicates the LPN’s status (Located, Allocated, Packed, and so on).

You can view records with serial number discrepancies by filtering the Inbound Container View and Outbound Container View UI with the 'Has serial number discrepancy' filter option. You can also view all the records with serial number discrepancies from the Serial Number Repository View UI.

1. Go to Serial Number Repository View UI
2. Click the Serial Number Discrepancy View action button to view all the record with serial number discrepancies within the logged in facility are displayed on the UI screen. The Serial Number Discrepancy View UI displays serial discrepancy records from IB Container, OB Container, and Active inventories.
3. Go to Serial Number Discrepancy View UI > click Create CC task button to create 'CC-LOCATION-DTL' type cycle count tasks.
   • NOTE: You can make selections of multiple serial discrepancy records and then create tasks from the 'Create CC task' button.
4. After completion of creating CC task, , the task creation templates having only CC-LOCATION-DTL type defined in the template details is displayed in a drop-down list.
   Note: The Task templates having multiple task types defined will not appear under the Create CC task drop-down list even if they have one detail with CC-LOCATION-DTL type defined.

   The 'Create CC task' button remains disabled in the following scenarios:

   • If no record is selected (default state).
   • If a selected record does not have any location assigned (If an LPN does not have any associated location such as received LPNs which are yet to be located).
   • If the user selects an OBLPN record.
5. You will be notified with the number of tasks created out of the number of unique locations selected from the records and all the tasks thus created can be viewed from the CC Logs action button placed on the CC Run View UI.
6. The number of tasks created out of the number of unique locations selected from the records are notified to you. All the tasks created is viewed from the CC logs action button on the CC Run View UI.
   Note:

   • The Serial Number Discrepancy View screen only fetches records with serial discrepancies. As a result, even if there are multiple SKUs, only the inventories with the discrepancy appear on the Serial Number Discrepancy View Screen.
   • All the cycle count tasks created are at the location level. Additionally, the task creation templates selected from the Create CC Task drop down, to create the cycle count tasks give precedence to the selection criteria configured in the template over the selected location records.

Note: You can scan inventory with serial number up to 40 characters. That is, the system allows you to enter up to 40 characters when you hit the CTRL+R hotkey to invoke “Remove serial entry”.
