Auto-Send Shipping Documents to Dynamic Email
You can automatically send shipping documents, such as Commercial Invoices and Bills of Lading (BOL), to multiple recipients at the time of loading or shipping. This ensures that necessary documents are received without manual intervention.
- Auto Printing and Auto Emailing of Export Documents
Auto-printing and auto-emailing support Export Shipment Packing Lists and Shippers Export Declarations. Once an Outbound Load is shipped or loaded, these documents are either automatically printed via a designated printer or emailed based on event triggers configured in the Output Interface Configuration UI.
To enable this:
- In the Output Interface UI, select the Interface Type.
- Click Output Interface Target.
- On the Create/Edit pane:
- Documentation Notification Email field: Select Outbound Load Doc Notification Email or Carrier Email from the dropdown to ensure emails are sent to the relevant parties upon shipment or loading.
- Email field: Or, manually enter a static email address.
- Click Select Target System, and the target system will be updated for the file.
-
Note:
- If no static email is set and the Documentation Notification Email field is blank, the system will default to the email address configured in the Users UI.
- If no user email is set, an error will be triggered.
- The system-generated email includes the subject line: “Auto-generated file received for ”
