Receive Entire Shipment
The Receive Entire Shipment button does the following validations:
- If a sku requires a batch and the shipment detail does not have a batch, that lpn will not be received.
- If a sku requires an expiry and the shipment detail does not have an expiry, that lpn will not be received.
- If a sku requires serial numbers and there are no serial numbers, the lpn will not be received (and even if there are serial numbers, if the item required serial number is set up to: Required, validate, and allow user to override, then the LPN cannot be received.
If the ASN has Pallet information, the system associates this information to the IBLPN, and there will be an associated record on the Pallet UI, and Pallet History.
If the ASN or PO has inventory attributes, this information is passed over to the LPNs received via Receive Entire Shipment.
Linking Serial Numbers with Inventory
In the Inbound Shipment UI you can now better identify/link serial numbers with their corresponding inventory according to its SKU/batch/expiry_date/invn_attributes (a-o)/PO Number/PO Sequence Number/Receipt Advice Line combination.
When you perform Receive Entire Shipment for items that require serial numbers configured to “Required, Don’t validate”, and you have already provided all the serial numbers linked to the IB Shipment, the system will create the inventory with the corresponding serial numbers. The system will verify whether serial number association can be determined for all the IB shipment details corresponding to the LPN.
If serial numbers can be determined for all the shipment details and the number of serial numbers match the quantity being received, then the shipment can be received (provided other existing validations are satisfied).
Auto Print Labels During Cartonization
Auto Print Lables During Cartonization allows you to print labels automatically during the cartonization process. This helps you streamlines the workflow by enabling label printing directly from the cartonization pop-up.
Auto Print Labels in the Cartonize Pop-Up
During Receive Entire Shipment process, the system displays an option Print LPN Labels in the Cartonize confirmation pop-up of the ASN Detail UI. This option allows you to auto-print the label and has following characteristics:
- By default, the Print LPN Labels flag will be disabled.
- On enabling the flag, the following fields are made available:
- Printer Name: Entre the name of the Printer.
NOTE: If the printer name is left blank, the system will use the default printer configured for your user profile. If no default printer is set, the cartonization will proceed without printing labels.
- Number of Copies: Enter the number of copies you want the print.
Auto Print Labels in the Cartonize LPN by Cases Pop-Up
You can auto print labels for the Cartonize LPN by Cases action, allowing you to print LPN labels after cartonizing ASN details.
- Default Behavior: The Print LPN Labels flag will be disbaled.
- When Checked: You can enter the printer name and the number of label copies, enabling automatic printing after cartonization.
NOTE: You must have cartonization permission to access this functionality. However, you do not need the specific ‘Print LPN Labels’ permission to print from the Cartonization pop-ups.
Steps to Enable Auto Print Labels:
- Access the ASN Inquiry UI and select the ASN details you want to cartonize.
- Use the Cartonize or Cartonize LPN by Cases option.
- In the confirmation pop-up:
- Check the Print LPN Labels flag.
- Enter the Printer Name and Number of Copies.
- Submit the cartonization request, and labels will print automatically.
