RF Receive Single SKU

TheRF Receive Single SKU (rf.inbound.cwrfrecvsinglesku) transaction simplifies the process of receiving non-cartonized shipments by reducing the number of scans required and increasing shipment receiving efficiency.

When receiving non- cartonized shipments where the quantity of a particular SKU is same across multiple LPNs, this transaction allows you to scan or enter the shipment, SKU, and quantity once. Then, you can scan the LPNs without re-entering the SKU and quantity. If required, you can use the hotkey “Ctrl-S: Change SKU” to update the SKU and quantity.

Note: With this transaction, you can receive only single SKU LPNs and it is supported only for non-cartonized shipments.

The following steps describe the basic transaction flow of the RF Receive Single SKU transaction:

  1. Invoke the RF Receive Single SKU transaction.
  2. Scan or enter the following details and hit Enter:
    • ASN
    • Item
  3. Scan or enter the following details and press Enter:
    • Qty (UOM)
    • LPN
Note: You can use the hotkey “Ctrl-S: Change SKU” to change the SKU details and update the quantity to proceed with further LPN scan(s).
  4. Scan the next LPN with the combination of same ASN, Item, Qty (UOM).

The screen behavior changes based on the RF screen parameters configuration. For more details, refer to the RF Screen Parameters file (Oracle WMS Cloud Information Center > Documentation tab > click the link under Current Documentation > refer to the RF Screen Parameters Quick Reference document.

Key validations when the screen parameter “prompt-location” = “Yes”:

  • If Inbound Load is checked into a dock location, after receiving, the system skips the location prompt because the IBLPNs are automatically updated with the dock location.
  • After scanning the location, the system validates it based on criteria such as Item Assignment Type and Allow Multi SKU. If the location is valid, the system updates the inventory and proceeds to the next step in the RF Receive Single SKU transaction.
  • When validating the scanned location, the system skips checks for Restrict Lot/Batch, Restrict Inventory Attribute, and location capacity (Max Units, Max LPNs, Max Weight, Min Volume, and Max Volume).
