RF Modify/Cancel OBLPN
In certain scenarios, you might stop shipping a container by performing RF Modify Cancel OBLPN or decrease the actual quantity being shipped. To prevent any issues occurring during allocation, when an OBLPN is modified using the RF Modify/Cancel transaction, the priority date will get copied to the newly created IBLPN.
Mod Cancel OBLPN Supports Transfer Inventory Lock Code to OBLPN
The Modify/Cancel OBLPN mobile transaction transfers inventory lock codes to the resulting IBLPNs. This ensures the resulting IBLPNs are carrying the lock codes from the OBLPNs. Hence, the ERP bucket inventory balance gets maintained accurately.
For example, IBLPNs carrying an RTV Lock code passed from an OBLPN will not get allocated to any customer order.
This improves the flexibility and accuracy when modifying or cancelling OBLPNs, particularly in the Return to Vendor process, by ensuring correct lock codes are applied.
When a lock code is applied to an OBLPN during or after packing, the system transfers the associated lock code to the corresponding IBLPN during modify/cancel operation and appropriate IHT records (IHT-29-Create Allocatable Container, or IHT-30- Create Unallocable Container, or IHT-23 Lock container) are captured.
Refer to IHT reference documents for more information.
For instance, If an OBLPN with Return to Vendor lock code has 5 (un-allocatable) units and on modifying the OBLPN inventory to 3, the lock code is transferred to the scanned IBLPN, ensuring accurate tracking.
