Clock Process
Clocking is the process of recording timestamps to track employee entry and exit from the facility, as well as the time spent on Non-WMS and ad hoc activities, including breaks.
At the start of the workday, each employee must clock in (CI) to the facility (FAC), indicating the beginning of their workday, before performing any warehouse activities. If an employee takes a break, such as lunch or tea, they must clock in and out to record the break duration. At the end of the workday, the employee must Clock Out (CO) of the facility.
For Non-WMS and Ad hoc activities, time is recorded by explicitly clocking into the respective activity. However, for WMS activities, explicit clocking is not required. Each mobile screen in WMS is mapped to a corresponding activity in WFM, and the activity duration is calculated using the start and end timestamps received from WMS.
