Run WMS WFM Interface

This job type is used to schedule the process that picks up records from WMS Activity and moves data to WMS Activity Track. As a second step, the process moves data from WMS Activity Track to Daily Activity Track.

The job accepts the following three parameters:

  • Username: Needs to be a valid WMS user and should be eligible for the company/facility where the schedule job has been configured.
  • Number of Days – Reprocess Error Records: Accepts values between 0 and 60. If no value is provided, it is defaulted to 7.
  • Number of Days – Process New Records: Accepts values between 0 and 30.
Note: If the “Username” provided in this job is eligible for multiple facilities, data for all such facilities will be picked up by this job. In such a scenario it is recommended that the scheduled job is configured in only one facility. The alternate option is to dedicate one user per facility and configure this job in all facilities with respective eligible users.

RECOMMENDATION: Running the “Run WMS WFM Interface” job during peak business hours is generally not recommended, as it may impact overall system performance in the production environment.

If there is a business need to execute the job during this time, we recommend first validating the impact on a non-production environment. This allows you to assess performance and identify any potential issues in a controlled setting.

Additionally, you may consider a phased approach—starting with a small number of facilities and gradually increasing the scope—so you can monitor system behavior and ensure stability as you scale.
