Shell is an advanced client and code editor for the MySQL Server. It provides similar SQL functionality to the mysql client and in addition provides scripting capabilities for JavaScript and Python languages, includes APIs for working with the MySQL. X DevAPI , enables work with both relational and document data and provides InnoDB Cluster functionality.
This VPAT applies to only version 8.0 prior to 22-Apr-2021. It does not apply to any versions of MySQL Shell (part of MySQL Server) after this. This VPAT has been superseded by MySQL Shell (part of MySQL Server) 8.0 (Feb 2021).
