Oracle Accessibility Conformance Report

VPAT® Version 2.3 - April 2019

Name of Product:

Oracle Utilities Opower Behavioral Demand Response 19.3 (Updated)

Product Description:

The Behavioral Demand Response (BDR) program is an initiative aimed at encouraging people to reduce energy during peak events and thereby lower energy demand on a large scale. Peak events are days in which the demand for energy exceeds a utility’s capacity to supply it. These days often occur in extreme weather conditions during the summer or winter seasons when the demand for energy is high. To reduce energy use on these days, customers enrolled in the BDR program will receive a variety of resources designed to motivate them to be energy efficient.

In addition, multiple peak days can be scheduled over consecutive days, forming a multi-day peak event. See the individual page links below for more information on how the customer experience varies with multi-day peak events.

Customers can select to receive Behavioral Demand Response communications as an email, short message service (SMS) or interactive voice recording (IVR). This VPAT addresses the email channel of the BDR customer experience. For the accessible user interface, it is recommended that you use the email channel.
