Product Description:

The Oracle Communications Session Border Controller (SBC) enables service providers to deliver trusted, first-class interactive communications services across IP network borders. SIP based services and applications are supported ranging from basic VoIP and SIP trunking to any IMS enabled service—voice, video conferencing and calling, presence, instant messaging, GSMA IPX, and femtocell and Wi-Fi-enabled fixed-mobile convergence.

This product is software-based and can be installed on the following purpose-built hardware platforms:

  • Oracle Acme Packet 3900
  • Oracle Acme Packet 6100
  • Oracle Acme Packet 6300
  • Oracle Acme Packet 4600
  • Oracle Acme Packet 6350

This product can also be installed as a virtual network function on general purpose hardware. This product contains a command line user interface (CLI) as the UI.
