Product Description:

Oracle Machine Learning for R, a component of the Oracle Machine Learning product family, makes the open source R statistical programming language and environment ready for the enterprise and big data. Oracle Machine Learning for R is included with the Oracle Database license across applicable platforms and versions. Designed for problems involving large and small amounts of data, Oracle Machine Learning for R integrates R with Oracle Database. R users can run R commands and scripts for statistical and graphical analyses on data stored in Oracle Database. R users can develop, refine, and deploy R scripts that leverage the parallelism and scalability of the database to automate data analysis. Data analysts and data scientists can run R packages and develop and deploy R scripts for analytical applications in one step—without having to learn SQL. Oracle Machine Learning for R enables in-database execution of base R and popular R packages. Oracle Machine Learning for R can run user-defined functions that leverage open source R packages via embedded R execution while the database manages the data served to the R engines.

Oracle Machine Learning for R does not have a user interface, rather it is an API. The installer is a command line interface as well.
