Oracle Commerce is a comprehensive platform for building eCommerce sites and applications. Oracle Commerce enables retailers to build online stores where site visitors can browse catalogs, view personalized content, receive and redeem promotions, and place orders. Oracle Commerce includes capabilities intended for both B2C and B2B transactions. 

Oracle Commerce is solely back-end server-side code. User interfaces are supplied by Oracle Commerce Merchandising and Oracle Commerce Service Center, which are covered under separate VPATs. Oracle Commerce also has the following components, which are described in component VPATs:

  • Configuration and Installation Manager, a command line interface for configuring and installing Oracle Commerce
  • Three on-line store reference applications: Oracle Commerce Reference Store, Oracle Commerce Mobile Reference Store, and Oracle Commerce iOS Mobile Reference Store
  • Oracle Commerce Assisted Selling Reference Application, an iPad reference application for retail store agents
This VPAT does not cover the following product areas:
  • ATG Control Center
  • ATG Dynamo Server Admin
