Last Updated: 18-Nov-2015

This VPAT applies to only versions 15.4 through 16.1. It does not apply to any versions of Oracle Documents Cloud Service after this.
This VPAT has been superseded by Oracle Documents Cloud Service 16.3

Oracle Documents Cloud Service provides secure file sharing as well as file synchronization across different devices. This means that you can access your files and folders from almost anywhere, whether it's in your favorite web browser while sitting at a desk in an office, or on a mobile device while traveling. Your files, whether they be documents, graphic files, or videos, can be used anywhere because they are stored "in the cloud," and you can access them using different devices.

Oracle Documents Cloud Service offers several ways in which you can work with your files in Oracle Cloud:

  • Web browser: Using a familiar web browser on your computer, you can upload files, search for items, share folders, and manage all your files in Oracle Cloud. It can also be used to manage and author web sites using assets stored within Oracle Documents.
  • Desktop sync client: Desktop Sync runs in the background on your Windows or Mac computer to automatically synchronize files on your local computer to Oracle Cloud. This allows you to have all your latest files on multiple computers.
  • Mobile apps: You can download apps for your iPhone or iPad as well as Android devices, allowing you to work with your files in Oracle Cloud from your mobile device for easy access to all your files on the go. The Oracle Documents Presenter is an iPad app that can be used to present content directly from your iPad.

Oracle Documents Cloud Service administration is done through the web interface by users with Administrative privileges.

This VPAT does not cover the following product areas:
  • Oracle Documents for iOS app and Oracle Documents Presenter for iOS app (mobile users should consider the Oracle Documents or Android app)

There are no steps that a user or administrator must take in order to configure accessibility mode for this service's clients interfaces.  Users may need to enable the accessibility features of their desktop or mobile device. Please refer to your manufacturer's help regarding accessibility settings.
