VPAT® Version 2.0 - October 2017
Java Compatibility Kit 13 (JCK 13) is a collection of tests that is used to ensure compatible behavior between implementations of the Java SE (Standard Edition) 13 platform. The tests in JCK 13 are derived from statements in the specification of the Java SE 13 platform.
JCK 13 can be run from the command line or from the JavaTest test harness. Some of the tests in JCK 13 are interactive, and present a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that the user must interact with. Interactions with the GUI are excluded from this VPAT.
Due to the JCK having to meet the criteria specified in the JSRs (Java Specification Requests), it is not possible to meet all accessibility criteria as they are in conflict with the JSR. To meet the criteria would require a fundamental alteration of the product.
This VPAT applies to only version 13 prior to 21-Feb-2020. It does not apply to any versions of Java Compatibility Kit after this. This VPAT has been superseded by Java Compatibility Kit 13 (Updated).
This product interacts with or is built with the other Oracle products listedin this section. Click below to view information about the accessibility ofthese dependent products. Oracle's policy is to design, develop and test both products and documentation to be accessible. The recommended styles of testing for accessibility include: (i) algorithmic automated tests, (ii) human judgement tests such as tool-assisted tests, visual inspection and manual operation, and (iii) testing with assistive technology by people with and without disabilities. Additional information about Oracle's accessibility program is available on http://www.oracle.com/corporate/accessibility/index.html
